We’re excited to announce the completion of one of our latest featured projects – a new Safeway store in Surprise, Arizona. This state-of-the-art grocery store, encompassing approximately 63,000 square feet, is a shining example of the innovative architectural designs and high-quality construction that define us at Alliance. Our commitment to excellence and ingenuity in building design is embodied in every aspect of this project, showcasing our ability to create spaces that are not just functional but also aesthetically striking.
Completed on November 8, 2023, this building is more than just a structure; it’s a hub for community engagement and shopping convenience. Serving as a new grocery store for Safeway, it represents a significant addition to the retail landscape of Surprise, Arizona.
The newly opened Safeway offers a shopping haven with a full-service Starbucks, designer floral area, and premium produce department. It features an extensive meat department, world-class wine area, and a bakery with a wide range of sweets. The Deli and Cheese Department presents a variety of cheeses and meats, complemented by convenient services like grocery delivery and ‘Drive Up and Go’, ensuring a delightful shopping experience.
The store itself is a marvel of modern construction, featuring Alliance’s signature pre-engineered frames complemented by CMU shear walls. The building is topped with a TPO roof, featuring a B-deck and custom screen walls for rooftop unit enclosures. The custom entryway is a visual delight, made with HSS columns and beams that support elegant curtain walls. Moreover, the store is equipped with custom pre-engineered and structural canopies, seamlessly blending with the design of adjacent structures, creating a cohesive and visually appealing exterior.
