Our 2026 Customer Appreciation Event brought customers, vendors, partners, and friends together in Durant, Oklahoma, for two days at Choctaw Casino & Resort and Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course.
Thursday evening started with a private dinner in the Grand Summit Ballroom, giving everyone a chance to settle in, catch up, and enjoy some time together before Friday’s tournament. Jeff Martin provided live music throughout the evening, and Vice President of Sales Don Key welcomed the group with a few words of appreciation for the customers, vendors, and partners who continue to be such an important part of Alliance Steel.
Friday morning, over140 golfers across 34 teams headed to Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course for a shotgun start and a full morning of golf. The Oklahoma heat showed up early, but so did the competition. Teams worked their way around the course through several hours of play, including longest drive and closest to the pin contests, before returning to the clubhouse for lunch and awards.
When the final scores were tallied, Crossland Construction came out on top. Aaron Stoops, Jesse Amick, Nathan Hatchel, and Garrett Luna took first place, followed by L5 Construction’s Zac Head, Brooks Freeman, Brant Moman, and Frank Collamore in second. Hector Garza, Kevin Bradley, Jacob Jones, and Todd Hamilton finished third.
The day wrapped up with lunch, awards, and one of the most memorable moments of the event. Our last-place team received a new driver set, then helped present a $10,000 donation from Alliance Steel to representatives of the Piedmont Area Veterans Association. It was a meaningful way to close out the tournament and recognize an organization doing important work for veterans in the community.
Our annual Customer Appreciation Event is one of our favorite opportunities each year to spend time with the people we work with outside of the usual meetings, calls, and jobsite conversations. We appreciate everyone who made the trip to Durant, joined us for dinner, played in the tournament, sponsored the event, or helped make the weekend possible.
